人種差別撤廃を訴えたキング牧師。
白人たちによって侵略され、白人たちのために作られたアメリカという新たな帝国。
その中で黒人や肌の色が違う人種たちはずっと差別を受けて支配されてきた。
それはおかしい、それは間違っていると、キング牧師は説いた。
上の文章の大意はこうだ。
私には夢がある。
いつか牧場で働く奴隷の子どもと牧場主の子どもが兄弟のようにテーブルに座ることができる日が来ると。
不正と抑圧で焼け付かんばかりのミシシッピ州ですら、いつか自由と正義のオアシスに変わるだろうと。
